Section II Standouts Sign National Letters of Intent

There were a handful of Section II athletes - from Shaker and Colonie High School - who signed their National Letters of Intent to play collegiate-level sports.

Check out all the athletes under the cut and congratulations to everyone on such a wonderful accomplishment.
From Colonie High School
Nicole Riddick  - 3 year varsity basketball player heading to UMass Lowell to major in journalism.
Marisa Sholtes  - 4 year varsity softball player heading to the University of North Carolina Greensboro to major in early childhood education.
Kara Snyder - 4 year varsity track & field athlete heading to Villanova to major in chemical engineering

From Shaker High School
Sarah Cheney - varsity lacrosse player heading to Georgetown.
Sean Egan - varsity baseball and foootball player heading to Fairfield to join the baseball team.
Liam King - varsity lacrosse player heading to Rutgers University.
Julia Lennon - vasrity lacrosse and soccer player heading to Harvard Univeristy to join the lax team.
Julia Malone - varsity lacrosse and soccer player heading to Holy Cross to join the lax team.
Blake Retell - varsity wrestler heading to the University of Buffalo.
Eva Torncello - varsity lacrosse player heading to Towson University.
