Colonie multi-sport standout Samantha Blum has committed to Keuka College in Keuka Park, New York.

The Storm compete at the Division III level in the North East Athletic Conference. The basketball team made it to the league championship game before dropping to Lancaster Bible College. On the softball side of things, the Storm fell to Penn State-Berks just two games from a berth in the NCAA DIII tournament.

Blum, who played both basketball and softball for the Lady Garnet Raiders, was also offered a full ride to Division 1 Alcorn State for softball. She received interest from over 50 DII and DII schools - most of which were hoping to sign here for just softball. But Keuka offered the chance to continue dominating in more than one uniform.

Blum was a part of the 2010 Section II softball championship and this year's Section II basketball championship team. She was named a first-team Suburban Council all-star in softball this past spring and will be majoring in political science.
