Are you ready for some football? That was an obligatory joke. It had to be made.

The 2014 Section II football schedules were released late on Thursday night and there are some new things happening this season.

The biggest change being that all teams start the season with two crossover games - a home and away game - but no team has either three home games or three away games in a row.

We've also got some changes as far as school sizes. Lansingburgh has moved back up to Class A after two seasons in Class B. Also making the move up to Class A is Green Tech.

Niskayuna has also dropped down to Class A and will be ineligible for the sectional tournament. Bethlehem will also be making the move to the Liberty Division after competing in the Empire Division of Class AA.
