The final installment of Records and Rankings Monday is right here - the latest NYS softball rankings from the New York State Sportswriters Association.
It's also the final week of the regular season here in Section II so these rankings are of particular interest.
Check out the top five in each class below, as well as the rankings of our local squads. For the entire list, there is a link right here. Keep in mind though that these records are THROUGH Sunday, so nothing from today is included.

Can someone in the sports department please explain how you have not mentioned anything about the Waterford Girls Varsity Softball team this year. The girls won the CHVL championship while going undefeated in league play 16-0 and finishing regular season play at 16-2 while going into this weeks sectional play. You really missed a great story this year.
